Young Lovers In Taiwan Episode One

Time move slowly as if time had stop when Natalie, Rita, and Diana sat down at the airport when Natalie parents went to get their airplane tickets. How come they were at the airport? It all started 2 months ago when the girl was called in by their principal. ~2 months ago~ Ladies Mr.Thomson would see you three now say the secretary. Diana look at Natalie and all three of them got up and went into their principal office. Mr.Thomson look up at his paper works and told Rita to shut the door. Rita look at Mr.Thomson and shut the door behind her. He then say Sit down ladies don't be shy. Rita and the other girls sat down on the three chairs in front of them. They all sit down and Rita then say Yo, Mr.Thomson are we in trouble? Mr.Thomson look at Rita and say First of all Rita didn't i tell you that you're a lady and don't use slang in school! Second, No you guys are not in trouble but matter of fact it's good news! Diana say good news? Did we win something let me guess is it another lame award that you give out. Natalie then say Yeah, those lame paper ones, that get wet easily. Mr.Thomson then say No it's not lame ok and we are going to work on those awards and can you girls let me speak. Natalie then say If we let you talk can you cut it short because I want to go back to my fashion class. Mr.Thomson say Ok what's going on is our school had just got nominated in this program where students of the teachers choice will get a chance in a life time to travel to another country to study. Rita then look at him and say Yeah and What does that have to do with us? Mr. Thomson then say from your profile and your guys abilities which had given such an impact in our school we have decided that you guys are going to TAIWAN to STUDY! Diana look at Mr.Thomson and say So overall we are the ginnie pigs for this so call program? Mr.Thomson then say No you guys are not, you guys are representing our school in Taiwan and if you three show intelligent and improvement then our school won't be shutting down and you don't want our school to shut down now do you? Natalie got closer to Mr.Thomson desk and say WHAT our school SHUTTING DOWN? Why? Mr.Thomson then gave out a sigh and say Our school have Low test scores and we lose to everything we try in such as art,music,sports,and even intellectual programs but ever since you girls started to attend our school we had become more well known and with the help that you girls had did the boards of director might reconsider on this purposal of shutting down our school under one condition if our school can prove to the other country that we are worth the chance. Natalie then say Speaking for all of us it's sad that our school might shut down but How can we go over there if we don't even speak the langauge? I mean we are chinese but we never learn it or got a chance to.
Mr.Thomson then say No worries about it we have that all cover because in these 2 months of school left you guys will be learning the langauge and Don't worry over in Taiwan we had set everything up for you girls. We have a house for you girls to stay in, an assistant, great teachers, a great school,and..he was about to continue on but Diana then say I don't want to go I mean my life is over here and I just got a car too. He then say I was about to say we had also got you girls 3 new cars over there. Diana then say NO WAY! Mr.Thomson had given them the contract and all the pictures of where they going to live at and what school and everything, he then say But sadly I can't persuade the boards to give you girls money so you girls have to find a job. Diana then say I think it won't be tough i mean a job is a job. Mr.Thomson then say You girls have to go shopping for food and also pay bills even though you guys have a maid she will not do all that, her job is to watch you girls and take care of you girls that's all. Natalie then say We understand! Rita then say this is a good condition but what if we still don't want to go? Mr.Thomson then say Well you have no choice your parents had just given me legal rights to do so. Rita then say What? But i am 19! He then say according to the law if you still stay with your parents and still currently had no rights yet then you still consider as a minor. Rita gave out a big URGH! Mr.Thomson then say I just hope you girls the best and your new private classes will start at 7:00am and ends at 7:00pm tomorrow. Natalie SCREAM and say We have to wake up and extra hour early and go home late you must be kidding me. He then say Nope same rules applies if you are late then you will have to serve an extra 2 hours in class. He then look at the time and say Get up now you guys have to go back to class. The girls got up and left the office. They were walking through the hall and many people walked by and say Hi Diana or Sup Rita or giving hugs to Natalie. They were walking very slowly and they all look sad. Natalie then say I can't believe my parents would do this to me with out discussing with me it doesn't sound like them. Diana then look at Natalie and stop walking she then say At least your parents care for you, Rita and my parents are nothing compare to your parents. Rita stop and say Yup Diana is right we all know you have this great family and us what we have are families that are soon to be torn apart. Natalie came over and hug the 2 of them and say My families are like yours and my parents love you guys dearly. Yeah maybe your guys family is different from mine but they still love you i mean Rita your mom loves you unconditionally and Diana if your parents don't love you they wouldn't stick together now would they? The two smile and say Natalie you're getting smarter haha. Natalie then say I know i feel smart too but the thing I can't deal is that we have to leave in 2 months. I mean how can I go to Taiwan this is my life in America. I mean the mall I can't live without it i mean i don't think i can survive!
Rita and Diana look at Natalie and Diana say She was doing so well. Rita then say I know what you mean, when you tell her she's getting good at something she stops doing it. Rita then say Natalie i think there would be a mall in Taiwan idiot! Diana then say What I am worrying about is how we going to deal with the new school I mean we don't know anyone and all I know is there's a lot pressure on us girls. Rita then say Chill girl everything be fine I hate this school anyways it's good to go and learn new things I mean come on don't you want to go into international business I mean all of our careers have to deal with international perspective. Diana nodded and say Yup it's a good expereince. Natalie then say Either way we have each other and see sisters will be there through the happiness and sadness am i right? Diana and Rita smile and say You Know! And all of them did their secret hand shake. Secret Handshake(They slap each other hands and then they pull each other in for a hug and after that they dust off their shoes) During those 2 months they went through an agressive training. These are the courses they took in those 2 months Mandarin, Rules in Taiwan like laws, How to deal with the school, and basic rules for them to understand in school, and the country background. Rita and Diana did fine they pass the 2 month knowledge test with an A+ while Natalie pass it with a C- Through the times they been through, the 2 months went by fast and now it's Friday January 26, 2007 their last day in America. The girls didn't had to go to school on Thursday so they all spend time with their families. Of course Natalie went shopping with her mom and dad while Diana had her last time with her cousins and they made her many mix cds. Rita was with her mom the whole time her dad was never home so she didn't really care. Her mom and her talked for a long period of time and they also play basketball together. But today is a new day it was Friday and the girls came to school for the last time. As they walked through the hall way no one was there.
Then they went to the gym and there was no lights. Rita then say What's wrong with this school just because we are leaving they don't have to be so happy and not attend the school. Natalie then say Let it go maybe they all busy studying or something let's go. But when they were about to leave the lights came back on and the dj started to play a song and everyone in their class such as teachers, students, board of directors, even the janitor scream SURPRISE! They turn around and they saw the banner Go LOS ANGELES ANGEL HIGH! Then confetti started to drop down on them and everyone made loud noise and went WOOT WOOT! The girls were consider GCG the protector of the school because they care for everyone and everyone were great friends with each other. GCG stands for Gorgeous Cool Girls. The students all ran to them and hug them. Diana, Rita, and Natalie started to cry because they had known their classmates like forever and they had been through a lot with them. Mr.Thomson got on stage and say Today Our special Guest is GCG and we are having a tribute party for them. Everyone walked the girls to the front of the stage. They had special seat made for the girls because it was label in their names and decorated with their favorite activities and color which was made by the art class. Then the program started. It was emotional because students had talked about GCG influence in the school and they had slide show of GCG pictures and funny moments in school. Mr.Thomson walked back on stage and say We would like to give another special award for these lovely ladies because they deserve it. The award is not made out of paper and it's not lame and everyone laugh. We want to give this honory award for Los Angeles Angel High school princesses of the year Rita Chow, Natalie Sai, and Diana Yan. The girls smile and walked up on stage and everyone scream, the guys went WOOT WOOT while the girls Scream so loud it could of break the glasses of the windows in the gym. The award was a paper but it was printed and was framed for them but this award had a picture of them and they also recieve ribbons that say Los Angeles High Princess of the Year. Everyone cheer and scream WE LOVE YOU! You can say the school love these girls very much. Rita then took the stand to make her acceptant speech she then say um...I don't know what to say because this is so unexpectedly shocking. I never think the basketball captain like me would turn out to be a princess. I just want to say Thank you Mr.Thomson for never giving detention and other teachers too when I'm using slang in school. I don't know what to say But it been the most funnest year for me and I won't let you guys down ok. Even if I am not here the basketball team still must win and dominate the other district! YOU KNOW scream the other student and the girls laugh. Natalie took the stand next, She then say How come I feel like i am in a trial but i am so darn short and the audience laugh.
She then say Ok never mind, but i want to say that if it wasn't for my 2 sisters here and the teachers supporting me I probably wouldn't be able to improve in all my school subjects so thank you. I also want to say thank you to my lovely peers who always been so kind and caring to me. I think that fashion will live on and so will my fashion team and club I know you guys will make it to nationals this year because you guys are creative! The audience once again say YOU KNOW! Diana then walked to the stand and she looked at everyone and she then say Life is fast when I think about it, I remember the first time i walked to this school and many of you had no school spirit at all and hated one another but look at us now we all are united and happy and in this very gym. I remember in this gym we had our first arguments and then our first hugs. I want to say thank you to all of you for helping me through my hard times and giving sweet moments like today, it had taken over my bitter sad moments. Having the opportunity to be the leader of the writing class, taking part in piano class, and directing the charity act for our school. I am proud that GCG was the school president of this very school and I will not let any of you guys down I WILL make TAIWAN know about us LA ANGELS and like we had been saying all along even if we are not here you guys can make it too.Diana and GCG started to say LA ANGEL HIGH and everyone went You Know! They all try not to cry and went down the stage and everyone started to hug them. Thier friends gave them soo much presents that they had 3 boxes that had to be sent through the mail in another way. They all leave the gym with thier friends and gave the school one last glance and they went into the car and wave good bye to everyone. Some of the girls in the school cry and the guys wore the shirt We Love GCG and was cheering them on. The girls were also added to the school Student Wall of Fame. Everyone wave goodbye and will wait for the day the girls return. Natalie parents drove them to the airport. Now the girls are sitting there nervously and anxious to see Taiwan. Natalie then say I can't wait to go to Taiwan and she pull out her tour guide. Diana look at her and say Natalie what are you doing with the tour guide we are going to Taiwan to study not to go on vacation. Rita then say Diana is right we have a lot of pressure right now and you have the nerves to go on a tour? You don't want to let the others down do you? Natalie then say Why are you guys so boring, didn't Mr.Thomson say that we get a week off when we get down there so we can go and have FUN! Diana then say That break is for us to study and what we need to learn or remember. Natalie then say Yeah learn the place HELLO! Rita then say Ok let's do it like this we will Study for 3 days and the rest we will go and have Fun ok? The others nodded. Natalie then say The time difference over there is different from ours right? Diana then say Yup they are a day earlier then us, so for example today is Friday 7:00pm then over there is 10am on a Saturday. Rita then say So we need to learn how to wake up at the time over there too.
Natalie parents came back and say My Oh My these girls are so smart. Natalie ran to her mom and dad and hug them and say Mom I don't want to leave you and Natalie mom smile and say you such a silly bun you will have to leave me when you go to college and get marry too. Natalie dad say Your mom is right about college but No Boys ok No! Natalie smile and say I know dad you told me that 10 times last night and like 50 times over in the car. Diana and Rita was admiring Natalie family connection they sat there quietly. Brandon say to Natalie mom how come Paul and Tina haven't come yet their daughter is going to leave soon. Diana look at Natalie parents and say Mr and Mrs Sai it's ok I bet it's because they are busy no worries. Natalie then say They will come sis no worries because they love you and winked at her. Then Diana parents came running through. Paul! are you sure our daughter is leaving from this airline? He then look at her and say That's what Brandon told me. Diana hear a couple arguing that sound like her parents she look up and say Ma...Ba! They turn around and saw her, they ran to her and say We're not late are we? Sorry honey it was your dad fault he went the wrong direction so we had to park somewhere else and he had a hotel meeting that he had to cancel say Diana mother. It's ok say Diana at least you guys made it and hug them. Diana Dad then say Why? You think we wouldn't come you're our little angel we wouldn't leave you alone. Diana mom then say My baby she's grown so tall, taller then me even if i wear heels i am not tall like her. Diana laugh and say Ma you will become taller because in my heart your taller then anyone in the world. Diana mom then gave her flowers and say these roses might be fake but it will last with you forever. She then pull out a jar of stars made in paper she then say remember these we made them when you were little well i want you to keep this, remember what i tell you every star you make will take away your sadness. Diana dad then gave Diana a new earphone and a music player. He then say this earphone i had waited in lines to get I even miss my important meeting for these it won't hurt your ears when you sleep with them and it's super loud it have sonic speaker too and this music player goes with it you can record all the things you like in it and it's unique because when you flip it there are colors and as well you can use it as a camera and a cell phone because i know your phone broke. I also got you a lucky charm it's a crystal star i got from the temple with your mom and your cousins to protect you. Diana was emotional and hug them very tight and say Ma..Ba I love you guys. They walked back to Natalie and her parents. Paul..Tina you guys made it say Natalie mom. Paul and Brandon gave each other hand shakes and Tina and Racheal hug each other. Tina then say If it wasn't for Paul bad driving we would came earlier. Paul then say Well if you didn't sing i wouldn't lose focus. Then Brandon say Ok Ok less arguing our kids will have to depart soon. Then one of the flight attendent say Flight 24 LA to Taipei, Taiwan will be departed soon please line up to aboard the plane. Everyone got their things Diana look at Rita and say Your parents where are they. Diana Dad then say Racheal didn't you call Lisa where are they? Racheal then say I did no one pick up. Rita then say Let's just go they won't come. Diana and Natalie gave their tickets and Rita was about to when She heard her mom scream WAIT! Rita stop and run to her mom and she then say sorry I came late your dad had to ask permission to come here. Her Dad was standing in front of her. Her mom then say I want you to have this necklace it was hand made by me and your dad 2 days ago at one of the jem shop we have put your chinese name and on the back a basketball. We want you to keep it and here is the headache medicine your dad got for you because he knows you get sick on airplanes. Her dad walked to her and say don't drink those medicine without any food here's your favorite food i got you at the store. She hug her Mom and Dad and say I thought you guys weren't going to come. Rita mom then say Don't be like that I had to come my baby is growing up and she started to cry. Her dad then say Even if Taiwan is tough you know that the medical field is always ready to train you. Rita then say No dad i won't be in that career my willingness is still strong. He smile and say good luck then and hug her. The flight attendent then say May I please have all passenger of Flight 24 to come to the pick up line the flight will depart soon. Rita mom then say Get on to the plane girl before it leaves you. Rita smile and say Bye. She ran back and gave the flight attendent her ticket and regroup with Natalie and Diana and they hug each other. Their parents scream GOOD LUCK Do your BEST, CALL US. They smile and wave goodbye and walked through the tunnel. The parents watch through the window. The girls find their seat 1A,B,C and they put their luggage and sat down. The planes started to depart and their parents watch when the planes started to leave and the mothers started to cry. Diana watch when the plane started to take off and she thinks to herself Good Bye America, Good Bye all my old memories. Rita and Natalie then say Here we go a new life a new chance a new GCG...what will happen with the girls when they reach to taiwan stay tune for episode 2!
