5566 began their singing career in 2002.
This band has a particular way in grouping, that is, besides some significant occasions they do perform together; they also joined some play in Taiwanese drama, or participated as the anchor of some variety shows in separated fashion. 5566, has come a long way since its beginning in 2002. Tony was the first to join Jungiery. He was signed on immediately after army training. Zax was signed on as a school talent-search. At the time, Zax had no interest in being an artist, so when everyone was asked to hand in their photos for a look-through, Zax had taken his picture upside down. Sun De Rong, the CEO of Jungiery, decided to hire him. Sam was originally a model before being signed by Jungiery to form 5566. Jason is the youngest and was being signed as a model for 2 weeks before being spotted by Jungiery. Together, these 4 along with Rio Peng who had to back out because of an aggravated back injury, formed 5566.
