i've read both.... harry potter til #7 and 3 books of LOTR.... its great jolene...i mean you can know a lot thru books... what've you seen in series completely different from book and you can use your own imagination to imagine how it is.... like harry potter, the way i imagine come out totally different from the movies.... LOTR kinda different too in books... i mean books just awesome... i hate it when they put all this in movie.... absolutely different....

read books lol... start buy one english story book... be it interesting or not...just read one chapter per day, im sure your english improve a lot by the end of the year....

Maybe try Harry Potter?? ;D I have the Harry Potter books too...first till end...guess what? I brought it to work place to read it lol...now no more as i kept online.. == i finished the 7th book by 2 weeks..my friend..finish it within a week..lol..i told her that she no need to sleep..hahaha... == You definitely can improve your English by reading...  just read more or read newspaper... ;D |

Lol you gals talking about English books? Hehe...I love Lord of the Rings! The book is so good and I agree the English is kinda hard...I'm a native speaker been reading since the age of 3 and I still had trouble understanding some of it!!! Harry Potter is a very good book series to improve your English...the first one is aimed at 7 year olds and the language level of each book is supposed to get harder as the child grows older...so the final book is meant for 14 year olds. Hehe...
Prefer the books to the films though...in the films they cut so much out ><
